Current Positons:
Plus One Robotics is hiring for a Senior Robotics Developer at our San Antonio based Headquarters.
This role will architect, design, build, test, and maintain software across a wide range of AI and vision-based production systems, working with proprietary and open-source tools and libraries to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that connect AI models to real‑world robotic systems; using Robot Operating System (ROS), gRPC, HTTP, Zenoh, and related communication frameworks to integrate and coordinate multiple subsystems; develop, train, and test AI models using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and CUDA‑based libraries; work primarily on GNU/Linux systems (for example, Ubuntu), using containerization technologies such as Docker and Docker Compose, as well as virtualization tools such as virt‑manager, QEMU, KVM, and VirtualBox to reproduce and manage deployment environments; automate workflows and deployments using scripting and configuration tools such as Bash, POSIX shell, and Ansible; write production-quality code in Rust, C++, and Python across multiple codebases and toolchains, following best practices for testing, review, and observability; bridge the gap between AI predictions and real-world robot interactions, with a primary focus on the development and enhancement of the company’s flagship products, including PickOne, InductOne, and other cutting‑edge projects leveraging Vision Language Action (VLA) models, Robot Foundation Models (RFM), and emerging physical AI technologies.
Must have a Master’s Degree (U.S. or foreign) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field, and 1 yr. of experience developing and deploying AI/ML-based software systems in Linux environments using programming languages and machine learning tools in a production environment (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar).
Experience must include use of systems programming languages (e.g., Rust, C++, or similar).
