At AUTOMATICA 2023 in the Yaskawa booth, #B6.502, at Messe München in Munich, Plus One Robotics’ software platform for warehouse and distribution centers will be powering a parcel induction work-cell crafted by DERO GROEP featuring a Yasakawa robot.
“Our continued collaboration with industry leaders like DERO GROEP and Yaskawa Motoman shows the versatility behind Plus One’s AI-powered vision software,” said Robert Nilsson, chief revenue officer at Plus One Robotics. “When our solutions are paired with state-of-the-art machinery and robotic arms, we not only achieve the throughput necessary to fill the workforce gap experienced by all distribution centers but do so with near with near 100% uptime and fulfillment accuracy.”
Plus One’s PickOne induction solution employs award-winning AI vision software in conjunction with Plus One’s patent-pending end-of-arm robot grippers to optimize the picking and placing of mixed parcels, bags, and products for high-volume ecommerce fulfillment and distribution centers. Plus One solutions perform over one million parcel picks each day in production and currently hold an industry-leading metric of nearly one billion parcel picks globally.
DERO GROEP has been a leading Dutch company creating automatic (robotized) handling solutions for over 20 years. To keep developing DERO GROEP recently added post and parcel as one of their main focus areas.
“There is a high demand for automation of parcel handling in the growing e-commerce sector,” said Maro Dedel, CEO and founder DERO GROEP. “With this parcel induction work-cell a robot picks the random parcels and envelopes out of the parcel flow, eliminating the need for this repetitive work to be done manually. Plus One Robotics' software and gripper are key elements of this solution and we are therefore proud to collaborate with them.”
